Life can feel overwhelming at times—especially when dealing with anxiety, low energy, sleep challenges, chronic stress, pain, or illness. If you’ve tried other wellness approaches without finding the relief you’re looking for, Reiki offers a gentle way to support relaxation and inner balance. I like to say that Reiki sweeps away your energetic cobwebs so that your body and mind can heal.
I will hold a safe, nurturing space for you to slow down, release tension, and reconnect with yourself at your own pace. No experience is needed—just show up as you are.
For your session, we’ll connect by phone beforehand to discuss your intentions. While setting an intention isn’t required, it can help personalize your session and support your healing experience.
In-person Sessions:
For a mobile session (in your home), there is no need to travel to a practitioner's studio, as I travel to you and provide a zero-gravity chair for your comfort- many people find this more relaxing than lying flat on a table. You’re welcome to close your eyes and rest throughout the session, or keep them open—whatever feels most comfortable for you.
For an in-studio session, feel free to relax on the Reiki table in my treatment room and feel your whole body exhale.
I use light touch during the session, with hands hovering over sensitive areas. If you prefer, I can work entirely without touch and hover over the whole body. Each session lasts 45 minutes and is designed for deep relaxation.
You may feel energy moving through your body with sensations like tingling and warmth, experiencing emotions coming to the surface, feeling a lightness in your body like a weight is being lifted off of you- or you may not feel anything at all. Every experience is completely normal and safe. Every body responds differently, just as people vary in sensitivity to temperature or touch.
At the end of the session, we’ll briefly check in about how you’re feeling and discuss any next steps or future Reiki sessions.
Distance Sessions:
Before your session, we’ll connect to discuss any intentions you’d like to set. At the scheduled time, you can relax in a quiet, comfortable space free from distractions- some people like distance sessions because you do not need to travel or physically be in a space with a practitioner. The session lasts about 20 minutes.
We will reconnect after your session to answer any questions you may have, and discuss potential next steps for your Reiki journey.
After Your Session:
Be kind to yourself and rest, if you can. I recommend drinking plenty of water to support your body and mind as they process and integrate the energy work.
